English editing added in cancer biology

This week, we would like to extend a very warm welcome to Dr. Michele Avissar-Whiting, who has joined our English editing and proofreading team.

With a PhD in Medical Science from Brown University and a Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences, Dr. Avissar-Whiting has extensive research experience. Her thesis was on the etiological role of microRNA alterations in head and neck cancer. In addition to her new role at BIOEDIT, she currently works as research fellow at Brown University, studying epigentic modifications, and specifically DNA methylation.

Michele's expertise extends to epigenetics and molecular epidemiology, and we look forward to offering her science editing skills to cancer researchers for the forseeable future.
