New editor in neurosciences

This week, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Janelle Weaver to the BIOEDIT science editors team.

Janelle joins us with a very impressive track record as a freelance science writer. In addition to her new editing assignments at BIOEDIT, she is a regular contributor to such reputable publications as Nature News, The Scientist, Nature Medicine and New Scientist.

Dr. Weaver received her PhD in Neuroscience in 2006, studying at Stanford University. Since then, she has also been awarded a certificate in science writing from UC Santa Cruz and has gone on to work as a peer-reviewer at PLoS Biology.

Janelle has edited manuscripts in a wide range of areas including ecology, psychology and animal behaviour. We are delighted to have her aboard and look forward to offering her proofreading skills to our clients in a variety of fields.
