New services added to manuscript submission

03 March 2011

To ensure that your experience of English editing with BIOEDIT is easy, professional and convenient, we have added new options to our manuscript submission process.

Now, when you submit your paper for proofreading, you will be able to specify the form of spelling you prefer, as well as the journal you intend to submit to (where applicable). Many journals specify whether manuscripts submitted for consideration should be written in British or American English. Therefore, it is essential that your work meets the standards set by journal editors in different parts of the world. When you select either British or American English spelling, our editors and proofreaders will check that your paper is consistent in the appropriate forms, thereby minimising the risk of rejection for incorrect spelling.

In addition to this, all papers submitted for our Comprehensive Editing and Comprehensive Editing PLUS services can now specify the journal they are intended for. This way, our science editors are able to check the style guidelines and conventions specific to that journal and apply these to your work, where appropriate. While this does not guarantee you publication in your desired journal, it does give you the best possible chance in the review process.

These are just a few of the changes that we are continuously making to our English editing service, as we aim to help scientists and laboratories worldwide get their work published. Submit your manuscript today, and see the difference that language editing can make to your research.
