Dr Marty Crawford - Biochemistry/Molecular Biology

Dr Marty Crawford received her Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Michigan State University for work investigating the subcellular localization of PGH synthases-1 and -2, key enzymes of prostanoid synthesis. Her postdoctoral studies focused on isolation and characterization of transcriptional activators involved in cold acclimation in Arabidopsis. Subsequent work has included contributions in clinical research studies of genetic hearing loss and preterm delivery, as well as work in industrial vaccine production.
