Dr Claudia Gaspar - Neurogenetics/Cell Biology

Dr Claudia Gaspar completed her doctoral research in Human Neurogenetics and Cell Biology at McGill University in 2000. Her Ph.D. work addressed the genetic and pathogenic mechanisms underlying neurodegeneration. She then joined a research team at McGill University as a postdoctoral fellow and in 2004 she became a Research Associate within the same Institution. In 2005, she was hired by the University of Montreal as a Project Coordinator and Scientific Editor/Writer. Claudia has published more than 25 scientific research papers in international journals and has edited a plethora of scientific manuscripts and grants for authors with diverse language backgrounds. She is currently a Lecturer at the University of Montreal and also works as a freelance science editor.
