Dr Kathleen Wilsen - Cellular and Molecular Biology/Genetics/Plant Biology/Biotechnology

Dr Kathleen Wilsen earned her Ph.D. in Plant Biology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, for her research on the actin cytoskeleton and calcium dynamics in growing pollen tubes. She also holds an M.Sc. in Genetics from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, for work investigating ribosome-inactivating proteins in plants. Kathleen has taught Biology and Scientific Writing at the university level and currently works as a freelance science editor for the leading primary research journal in her field.
