Dr Lawrence Carter - Behavioral Pharmacology
Dr Lawrence P. Carter received his Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2005 where he specialized in Behavioral Pharmacology, the study of the effects of drugs on behavior and the effects of ongoing behavior as they relate to drug action. He completed a clinical postdoctoral research fellowship at Johns Hopkins University before joining a small pharmaceutical company as a Medical Science Liaison. Dr Carter's areas of expertise include GABAergic pharmacology, abuse liability testing, and behavior. He has published a number of peer-reviewed papers including several invited reviews and serves as an ad hoc reviewer of manuscripts for a number of journals.
