Dr Melanie Samuel - Neuroscience/Aging/Immunology and Virology
Dr. Melanie A. Samuel earned her Ph.D. in Microbiology and Microbial Pathogenesis from Washington University in St. Louis for her research on the mechanisms of West Nile virus pathogenesis in the central nervous system. Melanie also holds a B.A in English, a B.S. in Microbiology and a B.S. in Biochemistry, and has several years of experience both as a writing tutor and as scientific writing instructor. She currently is a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University in the Center for Brain Sciences where she studies the molecular basis of age related synaptic organization.
