Dr Emilie Croisier - Neuroscience/Bioinformatics/Neurodegenerative Disease
Dr. Emilie Croisier received her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to her doctoral work, she conducted research on sensory perception, learning, and memory using fMRI and MEG imaging in humans and molecular analysis and anatomical tracing in mice. She received her PhD in Neuroscience from Imperial College London. Her doctoral research focused on the relationship between protein aggregation and glial and immune changes in neurodegenerative disease. She remained at Imperial for a post-doctoral fellowship examining immune response and vascular changes in the pathogenesis of brain tumors. Her research incorporates cell and molecular biology, bioinformatics, and clinical outcomes. For the past several years, she has worked as a scientific writer and editor in a range of topics in the fields of medicine, biology, and chemistry.
